Katelyn at 3 Weeks Old

Allison came home from daycare on Friday wearing her pilgrim hat. I asked her if she knew what a Pilgrim was and she said, "yes, they went on a boat and they lived in houses."

Katelyn was lying in her crib. I am pretty sure she smiled for the first time.
All Mommy wants for Christmas is a silent night, at least 4 straight hours!!

Allison's Third Birthday Party

Summer Fun!

Jon's 31st birthday dinner. Jon's parents and Charles came over to eat and have cake.  Allison had a great time.  As usual, she loves parties.


Allison knows how to turn the hose on herself, and started drinking the water right from the hose!  She looks so big in this picture.Allison has spent many days in the pool with us this summer.  Each day she grew more and more comfortable.  A few days ago, she wanted to "swim" with her water wings.  I don't have any pictures, but today she swam without me or Jon holding on to her at all.  She was so proud of herself.

Ben, Nichole and Emma came to visit.  Jon picked up Emma because she started to cry, and Allison wanted to be picked up too.

Accessorizing is Allison's new thing this summer.  We bought her a couple necklaces and a bracelet at the Sanford Summer Day's festival.  The sunglasses complete the look.
Popham beach was fun for her, because she could swim in the tidal pool that fills up.

First night in Bar Harbor after dinner at the Bar Harbor Inn.  Allison was so excited to see the boats in the harbor.  The one with the red boat in the background is my favorite picture.

First Beach Day and Greek Festival 2009

On Friday, it was a perfect beach day.  Crystal, Nate, Glen and Baby Evan came down to visit.  Allison loved the water and playing in the waves.  She ran all around, chasing seagulls and throwing sand in the water.

We all enjoyed the festival this year.  Great food as always and we got to go with Crystal and Nate on Friday night.  On Saturday, Allison got to meet Jon's Aunt Mary and Cousin Mariam for the first time.  She loved the bounce house, although we decided she is too small for this one.  On Friday night, a big kid bounced her down and she limped around for the next 2 hours, saying her ankle hurt.  But she seemed to be fine later.  On Saturday, she bounced right out the opening onto the ground and landed on  her face.  Maybe next year she'll be big enough.
